Install the cost command and connect it to your account.

Install
You need uv or pipx, and Python 3.10 or newer (uv installs Python for you).
uv tool install costcrunch # or: pipx install costcrunch
cost --version
Update later with uv tool upgrade costcrunch.
Sign in
cost auth login
This opens your browser to sign in with Google. Other ways:

cost auth login --api-key | Use an API key; it asks you to paste it |
export COSTCRUNCH_API_KEY=cc_live_... | Scripts and CI, nothing saved |
Check and end the session:
cost auth status
cost auth logout
